From the initial site visit and tailoring the size to fit our exact space, to keeping us updated with the timeframes and progress of the build off site I just can’t fault them. Punctual (always here before 8am), self-contained, really friendly and incredibly efficient they were a pleasure to watch. Usually I feel a bit nervous when we have workman round, but I soon learned that Darren’s methodical approach meant he thought of everything and spotted every little detail making the end result perfect!! I’m so pleased we went for the cedar finish as it makes the garden room an attractive family space and makes it feel like we have an actual extension. He made the internal decoration easy by marking out where the wood panels joined and helping our electrician put the points in so they would be hidden by the electrical appliances we wanted to fit. 

The finish and insulation have meant that all of us, including our girls can stay out there until late at night gaming or watching movies without getting freezing cold, perfect for the lack of springtime sunshine this year. 

Again many thanks to the whole team, we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them or using them again.

Just to say a big thank you for such a professional job.

The advice given during the planning answered all our questions, including your knowledge of sound-proofing (one of our requirements). The quality of the materials used is second to none, along with the EPDM roofing which has an amazing 50 year life span, this has exceeded our expectations. We were spoilt for the choice of colours available, this included carpet tiles, external and interior walls.

We were also surprised at how quickly the building went up, what’s this, no tea breaks?

You provided us with a certified professional electrician who also met all of our requirements, working alongside your team without any problems. You and your team work hard and deserve the business in our opinion.

For anyone reading this, these bespoke buildings are quality garden rooms with a lot of attention to detail, they are in no way a simple garden shed, although the company makes those as well.

When it came to pricing we were surprised at the end figure, it was a lot less than we thought we might have to pay and certainly less than friends of ours had paid elsewhere.

We did look around (as is our habit) before settling with Chameleon Garden Rooms, we would now use no other company.

Having just finished our fab studio building at the end of our garden I just want to thank Darren and his team for all the great help and support in finding and personalising the perfect room for us. We came to look at the show model which was being sold which looked great but not quite right for us, but with Darren’s help managed to add extra windows both sides to give us the perfect room for an artist studio one end and for a home office also. It is a perfect building for the family now and I don’t know how we ever managed without it and it has transformed the garden!

With apologies for the delay in getting back to you, having had a rethink about our plans for our new property, we have decided, with regret, not to go ahead with the garden room. It was a great idea and we liked the versatility it offered, but after further consideration unfortunately we have decided that it is not the best option for our purposes.

I’m sorry not to be able to take this further after all the advice you gave us – we were very impressed with the service we got right from the start and will definitely bear you in mind if we want to go down the garden room route in the future.
